Existing Home Energy Audits, Ratings & Energy Retrofits
A home energy audit is the first step in making your home more energy efficient . It is an assessment of how much energy your household uses as well as an analysis of your home systems to help determine any energy inefficiency problems you may be experiencing.
New Home Ratings & ENERGY STAR certifications
As certified ENERGY STAR® professionals we are certified and highly trained in the technical field of home energy testing. Professional auditors use a variety of techniques and equipment to determine the energy efficiency of your home.
The HERS Index is a scoring system established by RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network ) in which a home built to the specifications of the HERS Reference Home (based on the 2006 International Energy Conservation Code) scores a HERS Index of 100, while a net zero energy home scores a HERS Index of 0. The lower a home’s HERS Index, the less energy it uses, and the more energy efficient it is.
